Thank you for considering adopting one of our dogs/puppies.  We are an all volunteer rescue and work as quickly as we can but applications can occasionally take up to 7 days to completely process.  We often get multiple applications for the same dog, please know that we try to pay attention to the order in which the application is received but the “best fit” takes priority for us.  We may also, on occasion, decline an application if it does not meet our requirements.

Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to meeting a certain dog or puppy.  Applications are online and only take a few minutes to complete.  Please answer all of the questions completely, we cannot process requests to meet dogs by phone or email. Our dogs go on Petfinder when they are ready to adopt so you should be submitting an application when you are ready to adopt-we cannot hold dogs for weeks.

All of our dogs will be up to date with vaccines, have had a fecal check done, treated if needed, heartworm tested (if over 7 months), had flea/tick prevention and be spayed/neutered if over 5 months, or, if younger, be adopted with a spay/neuter contract, an appointment for the surgery at our partner vet, and an additional $100 deposit to be refunded upon completion of surgery (it is required that you transport your dog, on surgery day, to the partner vet you have agreed on, or you can have the option of having the dog spayed/neutered at your own vet at your own cost, still required by the age of 6 months-there are no exceptions, spay/neuter is 100 percent mandatory). Our dogs are also microchipped with lifetime registration.

On occasion, if there are other animals in the house, we can offer a “foster to adopt” trial period of two weeks to see if the animals all get along.  There is a $100 deposit that is nonrefundable but will be applied to the adoption fee if all works out. This is for dogs older than 6 months and is not available for puppies.

Our adoption fee is $375 unless otherwise noted.
